Guest CRM: VIP Tags, Flagging & History
Every guest who books at your restaurant is automatically added to your Customer CRM — no manual data entry required. TableStruck tracks their visit history and applies smart tags so your team always knows who's walking through the door.
How Guests Are Matched
A guest is recognized as the same person across bookings if their phone number **or** email address matches an existing record (case-insensitive on email). Name is never used for matching, since names aren't unique — this means a repeat booking with a slightly different spelling of a guest's name still correctly merges into their existing profile instead of creating a duplicate.
Flagging Problem Guests
If a guest has repeatedly no-showed or caused issues, you can flag their profile from the Customer CRM. Flagging requires a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental clicks. Once flagged, that guest is automatically blocked from creating new bookings through your public booking page — they'll need to contact your restaurant directly instead. Unflagging does not require confirmation.
Guest Profile & Booking History
Clicking any guest opens a drawer showing their full booking history, contact details, and computed stats (total bookings, no-shows, cancellations, first and last visit dates) — everything your host stand needs before seating a returning guest.
Search, Filter & Export
The guest list is fully server-side paginated, searchable, and filterable by tag — even restaurants with tens of thousands of guests load instantly. You can export your entire guest database to CSV at any time (capped at 50,000 rows per export), on every plan including Starter.
