Canvas Tools & Real-World Shapes

TableStruck provides specialized shapes reflecting real restaurant furnishings:

• Square & Rectangular Tables: 2-tops, 4-tops, 6-tops, and 8+ banquet dining tables.

• Round Tables: 2 to 8-seat circular tables.

• Bar Counters: Linear high-top seating with individual bar stool positions.

• Booths: U-shaped and semi-private booth alcoves.

• Architectural Walls & Partitions: Define pillars, service corridors, and restrooms.

Adding & Sizing Tables (Viewport-Centered Spawning)

When you click 'Add Table', TableStruck automatically spawns the new table in the exact center of your visible screen with an intelligent stagger offset, preventing newly created tables from stacking on top of each other.

Drag corners to resize dimensions, rotate to any angle, and specify Min/Max capacity (e.g. Min 2, Max 4).

Table Priority Ratings (1 to 5)

Every dining table features a Priority Rating slider from 1 to 5 (default: 2):

• Priority 5 (Prime Seating): Window tables, romantic alcoves, or harbor views. The auto-assignment engine fills these prime seats first.

• Priority 1 (Secondary): Tables near the kitchen doors, service stations, or restrooms. These fill only when prime tables are booked.

Edit Mode vs Live Seating Mode

A pill button toggles between:

• Edit Mode: Move tables, add shapes, resize room, adjust priorities.

• Live Seating Mode: Canvas is locked from accidental drags. Clicking any table allows you to seat walk-ins, view guest notes, or update meal status in real time.
