Booking Management & QR Scan-to-Seat
From walk-in diners stepping up to the host stand to VIP guests holding mobile QR tickets, TableStruck makes seating effortless.
The 6-Stage Seating Lifecycle
Every reservation travels through a visual lifecycle:
- CONFIRMED: Reservation accepted; table pre-assigned.
- UNCONFIRMED: Awaiting 24-hour guest reconfirmation.
- ARRIVED: Guest checked in at the host stand and waiting at the bar.
- SEATED: Host seats guest at table; turn time clock begins.
- COMPLETED: Meal concluded; table cleared for next guest.
- CANCELLED / NO-SHOW: Reservation released; counters updated in guest CRM.
Creating Instant Walk-Ins
When walk-ins arrive without a reservation, simply click any Green (Available) table on the floor plan or hit '⌘N' / 'New Booking'. Enter party size and dining duration to seat them immediately.
Camera QR Scan-to-Seat: The Future Host Stand
Guests receive a unique QR code ticket in their confirmation email and Apple Wallet pass.
At the host stand:
- Click 'Scan QR' in the top header (or press '⌘Q').
- Point the device camera at the customer's phone screen.
- TableStruck instantly verifies the ticket, highlights the guest's assigned table, and marks them as SEATED with celebratory visual feedback.
